Presented are two individually signed baseballs by New York Yankee off-the-field icons. The first ball is an Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball signed by legendary New York Yankees team owner, George Steinbrenner. While Steinbrenner owned of the team, the Yankees won seven World Series titles and 11 American League pennants. “The boss” as he was known, would be regularly involved with the team, hiring and firing managers consistently. This ball comes with a STICKER ONLY from JSA (D88800). This ball is signed in purple ink over the sweet spot and Steinbrenner has inscribed “The Boss”, under his signature. The ball has several small yellow stains, but is in otherwise good condition.

The second ball is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed by Mel Allen, the play by play commentator and “The Voice” of the New York Yankees. Allen’s voice would become associated with the Yankee’s from the 1940’s to 1960’s, as most fans considered him apart of the team itself. This ball is signed on the sweet spot in blue ink. It comes encased in a plastic covering by PSA/DNA (81430200) and has been graded a MINT + 9.5.
