Presented here is a series of single-signed baseballs by Hall of Fame infielders. The first is an Official National League Leonard S. Coleman baseball signed by Hall of Famer Ron Santo. Santo played for the Chicago Cubs and White Sox. He was nine-time All-Star and a five-time Gold Glove Award winner. This ball is signed in light blue ink on the sweet spot of the ball. The ball shows some signs of aging such as a yellow discoloration however, the signature remains fully intact. The second ball is a Official National League A. Bartlett Giamatti baseball signed by Hall of Famer Bill Terry. Terry was a three-time All-Star and is widely considered one of the best players of all time. This ball has been signed in blue ink over the sweet spot of the ball. The ball shows some signs aging, with very light stains, however it does not take away from the signature of the ball.
The third ball is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed by Lou Boudreau. The Hall of Famer was a seven-time All-Star, and won the MVP Award for the American League, while taking the Cleveland Indians to a World Series win. He holds the MLB record for hitting the most consecutive doubles in a game (four). This ball is signed in purple ink over the sweet spot and comes with a STICKER ONLY from JSA (F05656). The fourth ball is an Official National League William D. White baseball signed by Hall of famer Mike Schmidt. Schmidt was a 12-time All-Star and a three-time National League MVP winner, and 1980 World Series Champion. He has signed this ball in bold blue ink over the sweet spot and this comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (E28906).
The fifth ball is an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed by Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson. Playing for the Baltimore Orioles, Robinson is considered one of the best defensive players in the league’s history, having won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards, and was an 18-time All-Star and a two-time World Series Champion. He has signed this ball in blue ink over the sweet spot. This entire lot has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
