Presented is a New York Yankees World Series 1977 clock. The 1977 World Series pitted The New York Yankees against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Yankees had signed right fielder Reggie Jackson prior to the start of the season to the highest contract ever at that time and when it was all said and done, Jackson would earn his nickname “Mr. October”. The Yankees would go on to defeat the Dodgers 4 -2 and win their 21st championships. This featured clock commemorates this World Series. The clock features the Yankees hat logo in the center, which makes up the clock itself. Under it reads: “World Champion New York Yankees”, and features the whole 1977 roster. The blue background has some stains over the “C” in champions, and a few small tears throughout, however the full picture remains fully intact. The clocks mounting board is wood, with a gold trim and measures 17 ½ x 11 ½ inches. It also contains a wired electrical cord in the back. This makes for a great item that fits easily into any New York Yankees collection!
