Offered here is a photograph of three Brooklyn Dodgers outfielders, Hack Wilson, John Frederick, and Lefty O’Doul. Wilson was a Hall of Famer, most notable for setting the single season RBI record (191) that still stands today. In his record setting season, Wilson hit 56 home runs and batted .356 to go along with the 191 RBI. Frederick was a very good shortstop for the Dodgers during his abbreviated six-year career. He finished his career with a .308 batting average. The final player, O’Doul, was an All-Star pitcher and outfielder during his 11-year career. After his career ended, he was integral in popularizing baseball in Japan.

Wilson and Frederick signed this photograph, which was taken during either the 1932 or 1933 season. The three men are pictured standing at the top of their dugout, their arms resting on their knees. Wilson and Frederick signed the photo, each over their body. The caption of the photograph reads “Three Outfielders of the Brooklyn Club (Left to Right), John Frederick, ‘Lefty’ O’Doul and Hack Wilson.” This item comes with a prior JSA Auction Letter and has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
