Presented here is a black and white photograph of Hall of Famer Walter Maranville. Known as “Rabbit Maranville” for his speed and small stature, he was a shortstop and had played an unprecedented (at the time) 23 seasons in the National League, a feat that wasn’t broken until 1986 by Pete Ross.
Rabbit Maranville is pictured here in his legendary Braves uniform, with a glove on his left hand and a grin from ear to ear. Maranville has signed this photograph in black ink. This piece comes both matted and framed standing 14 x 16 inches. Included is a prior JSA Auction Letter as well as being pre-certified by Steve Grad of Becket Authentication.
