Pedro Martinez wore this grey Mets road jersey during the 2005 season, his first with the New York Mets. The three-time AL Cy Young Award winner went 15-8 in ’05, earning his seventh All-Star Game appearance. Martinez finished the season with 2.82 ERA and 208 strikeouts. He was the National League leader in WHIP that season, clocking in at a stellar 0.949 mark. 2005 ended up being the best of Martinez’s four seasons in Queens, although he did earn his eighth and final All-Star berth during the 2006 season.
