The 1969 New York Mets – the “Amazin’ Mets” – captured the hearts of their fans, improbably winning the World Series just seven years after their inaugural season of 1962, when they lost a modern era record 120 games. Their pitching staff was led by Tom Seaver, who went 25-7 with a 2.21 ERA, and won the NL Cy Young Award. Jerry Koosman went 17-9 with a 2.28 ERA, while Gary Gentry won 13 games. Meanwhile, a young Nolan Ryan was effectively used as both a starter and a reliever. This is a wonderful 16 x 20 inch poster (unframed), signed by Seaver, Ryan, Koosman and Gentry in blue ink. The authentication on this is a COA from JSA (W139115) that covers Koosman, Gentry and Seaver. The Ryan signature is covered by a Nolan Ryan authenticated hologram.
