Presented here are a glove and baseball signed by Nolan Ryan to commemorate his seven career no-hitters. A power pitcher, Ryan is the runaway leader in career strikeouts, with 5,714 over his 27 year career. His blend of velocity and guile helped him pitch an MLB record seven no-hitters. Ryan was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999 with 98.8% of the vote.
The first item in this lot is a tan Rawlings Fastback model glove. Ryan signed the third finger of the glove in black Sharpie. The palm of the glove features a logo commemorating Ryan’s seven no-hitters. This item comes with a Nolan Ryan Hologram.
The second item is a Rawlings Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball signed by Ryan. Ryan signed the sweet spot of the ball in blue ballpoint pen, adding the inscription “7 No-Hitters.” This item comes with a Nolan Ryan Hologram.
