Offered is a Baltimore Orioles cap worn by Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. during the 1983 and 1984 seasons. This game used cap is a New Era size 7 ¼ and has an orange brim, white front and black back. The Orioles bird is centered on the white front. His number “8” is hand written in black marker on the green underside brim. The cap shows outstanding game use such as dirt stains on the white panels, as well as the brim. Ripken has signed the left panel, next to the Orioles logo in black ink. This cap includes a full LOA from Mears (315167) and the signature has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
