Presented here is a ball signed by a plethora of New York Giants and Chicago Cubs players from around 1930. The Giants and Cubs both achieved success around this time, with the Giants winning the 1933 World Series and the Cubs making four appearances in the Fall Classic between 1929 and 1939. This Spalding Official League ball was signed by the Hall of Famers Mel Ott, Hack Wilson, Bill Terry, Kiki Cuyler, Carl Hubbell, and Travis Jackson. Other signatures include Bob O’Farrell, Shanty Hogan, Chick Fullis, and more. The signatures on this ball have been written in black pen and this ball comes with a prior JSA Auction letter and also comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A03103) who have determined that the signature of Fred Lindstrom to be a clubhouse signature.
