Before he was a star for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and even before he was a star tailback on the UCLA football team, Jackie Robinson attended the small Pasadena Junior College, where he participated on the baseball, basketball, football, and track teams. This is the Pasadena College yearbook from 1937, Robinson’s first year at the school. His brother, Mack, also attended PJC at that time, and served as the co-captain on the track team in 1937. Jackie Robinson appears on page 70, and is pictured wearing his PJC baseball uniform. He signed the page above his picture, where we wrote “Best of luck and success/Jack Robinson” in blue pen. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Y37000).
