Presented is this truly remarkable ONL Giles orb that boasts the bold signatures of many of baseballs IMMORTAL early Hall of Famer's. All have signed in various shades of blue ink.
The contingent of signers is one to behold. Jackie Robinson & Ty Cobb appear on the same baseball !! Rogers Hornsby (signed twice), George Sisler, "Wm H/Bill Terry", along with Ty Cobb complete the quad of "400 hitters" signing this sphere. Early 500 Home Run hitter Mel Ott also graces this orb.
Difficult and early signers include "Big Poison" Paul Waner, Mickey Cochrane, Tris Speaker & Gabby Harnett. Further adding their signatures are greats Stan Musial, Ralph Kiner, Ray Schalk and Travis Jackson. Representing the pitching contingent are Bob Feller, Lefty Gomez, Warren Spahn, Burleigh Grimes, Robin Roberts and Dizzy Dean. Non Hall of Famers Paul "Daffy" Dean and All Star & NL MVP Bucky Walters complete the signers.
The ball displays slight toning and the stampings are clear. This treasure has been encased in a PSA/DNA holder and comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AC03311). PSA/DNA has also graded the signatures an 8, the baseball a 7 and an overall grade of 7.5 making this Hall of Fame ball one of the top in existence.
