Kobe donned this Lakers’ jersey during the April 6, 2011 game against the Golden State Warriors. Although Kobe scored 25 points, the Lakers went down 95-87. Two nights later Bryant wore this same jersey again, this time in a 93-86 loss against the Portland Trail Blazers. In 24 minutes on the court, Kobe registered 24 points with four assists and a pair of rebounds. To cement the provenance of this piece, the MeiGray Group has definitively photo matched this jersey to both of these games.
This purple mesh road jersey has the “Lakers” logo across the chest in gold and white with Kobe’s number “24” below in gold and white. The neck and arm openings are trimmed in gold with white and gold mesh stripes running down both sides. Adidas size “6XL” label is sewn in the lower left front tail with “4-8-11” hand written in black pen. A “LENGTH +4” white hand tag is affixed and an NBA label with “LLA00221” is sewn adjacent. The back has “BRYANT” above his number “24” in gold and white. This is a great gamer with rock-solid provenance to its use in two specific Lakers games. The jersey is accompanied by a courtside ticket to the Portland game and an LOA from the MeiGray Group (LLA00221) for the game use.
