When you are the New York Yankees, with a legacy of 27 World Championships, you’ve earned the right to break from tradition. While players, clubhouse personnel and executives usually receive the ubiquitous gold ring when they win a World Series, the 1998 Yankees opted to commemorate their 24th World Championship a little differently. To set apart the Yankees executive team, five sets of these ultra-exclusive cufflinks were produced by Balfour, makers of the team’s World Series rings. To look at these in person one will believe they have TWO 1998 World Series rings in their hand! They are hefty and look just like the rings the players received, only there are two of them!

     These magnificent cufflinks incorporate the same design of the 1998 rings with the intertwined “NY” with 24 Si quality diamonds set on a brilliant blue stone and edged by a ring of an additional 24 Si quality diamonds. Surrounding it all is “WORLD CHAMPIONS 1998” in dimensional gold letters. Each ring “top” is mounted on a traditional gold cufflink assembly, ready for wear. The reverse has the Balfour 24K hallmark. A rarely encountered alternative to the traditional World Series ring, created specifically for one of the greatest dynasties in the history of the game.
