Kobe Bryant wore these Nike Kobe IX Elite sneakers during a 112-110 overtime road win against the San Antonio Spurs on December 12th, 2014. The Lakers superstar shooting guard dropped 22 points, adding nine assists, five rebounds, and four steals for an exemplary all-around statline. Although he did not score during the extra period, Bryant dished assists on three straight buckets to help seal the victory. Bryant finished the game with 32,385 career points, needing just eight points to surpass Michael Jordan (32,293) on the all-time scoring list.

Bryant, who played 35 games in 2014-15 before succumbing to a rotator cuff injury, led the Lakers with 22.3 points per game and made the 17th All-Star Game of his career. The Lower Merion High School product played one final season with the Lakers, capped off by a memorable 60 point outing in the last NBA game of Bryant’s Hall of Fame career.

These Nike Kobe IX Elite sneakers are white with purple Nike swooshes on each side of the shoe. The midsole is black, with a speckled white pattern interspersed throughout. Bryant’s personal logo is applied to the textured tongue below a facsimile of his signature. These shoes are high tops, with nine red bars embroidered on the heels. Purple lace holders line the top of the white-laced size 14 shoes. These shoes have been photo matched to the December 12th game by the MeiGray Group, who have also provided an LOA (MGA 001048).
