Marilyn Monroe, one of the most famous sex symbols in American history, has signed and personalized this 8 x 10 inch photograph. Monroe, wearing a black swimsuit and black shoes, inscribed this photograph “To 82nd Fighter Squadron”. The former wife of Yankees centerfielder Joe DiMaggio and playwright Arthur Miller, Monroe was discovered while working in a factory that produced parts for airplanes and the general war effort during World War II. Monroe signed this photograph with the line “Love & Kisses / Marilyn Monroe” in black marker. This photograph, which has some imperfections that do not impact the signature to any significant degree, comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (Z04780).
