Presented here is a collection of two tennis balls signed by a duo of legendary and accomplished players. The first ball, a Penn 1 tennis ball, has been signed by Andre Agassi. An eight-time Grand Slam winner, Agassi is one of the few American men to have accomplished the Career Slam, and the first man to win the four Slams across three different surfaces. Agassi signed the sweet spot of this ball in black marker.
The second ball has been signed by Venus Williams, one of the top women players of all-time. Williams has won all four major titles at least one time, including five Wimbledon titles. Williams first reached the No. 1 ranking in February of 2002 and the age of 22. At the age of 37, Williams reached the No. 5 ranking as of September 2017 and has 49 career singles’ titles. Williams signed her name on the sweet spot of this ball in black marker.
The third ball has been signed by Jennifer Capriati, a one-time prodigy who ended her career as one of the most decorated tennis players in history. An Olympic Gold medalist in 1992, Capriati claimed three Grand Slam titles during her lengthy career, which started at the age of 13. She signed the sweet spot of this Wilson 1 ball in black marker.
