Cuban sensation Jose Abreu was the 2014 American League Rookie of the Year hitting 36 home runs and driving in 107 runs. His sophomore campaign saw him hit 30 home runs with 101 RBI and he used this two-toned Old Hickory 79JA model bat, with a standard and cherry finish, during the 2015 season.

This 34.5-inch bat is un-cracked and shows light to moderate game use with dried pine tar on the top of the handle. There are several ball marks and stitch impressions, along with bat rack marks. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats manufactured after 2009. A “Chicago White Sox 79” sticker has been affixed to the knob end and the lower handle has been taped to enhance the grip. Abreu signed his name in blue marker on the barrel and inscribed “#79” and “2015 GAME USED”. This bat comes with a COA from Player Direct (2759) for the game use and a COA from JSA (W898710) for the signature.
