But it was on June 28, 2009, when Rivera reached a significant milestone by recording his 500th save against their crosstown rivals New York Mets during their inaugural season at Citi Field. He signed this limited-edition (#2/100) "2009 Inaugural Season" Commemorative Baseball with the special inscription: "500th Save 6-28-09" just below the logo.
