Presented here is collection of encapsulated ticket stubs from the 1951 World Series. The 1951 Fall Classic was the final appearance for Joe DiMaggio, and the first for Mickey Mantle. The Yankees won this series in six games over the New York Giants, winning the third of their unprecedented five straight World Series titles. Included in this lot are six stubs, one from each game, and all have been encapsulated by SGC. Games 1, 2, and 6 took place at Yankee Stadium, while Games 3, 4, and 5 were played at the Polo Grounds.
