Presented is a limited edition (#492 of 500) print of Muhammad Ali drawn in various stages of his heavyweight boxing career, signed in silver ink by the three-time World Champion boxer. Ali is portrayed by the artist with four images from four different championship bouts on the left side of the print, being interviewed by reporter Howard Cosell in the middle, throwing a left punch in the upper right corner of the print, and raising his arms in victory in the upper right corner. The dominant image in the print is Ali delivering the knockout right to George Foreman during the “Rumble in the Jungle,” with a rendering of Ali in white trunks throwing a jab at the right hand side of the print. The collage is in a brown wood and glass 23 ½ x 26 ½ inch frame with tan and red paper matte. Ali was heavyweight champion of the world three times, the first fighter to win the title three separate times, with wins over Sonny Liston in 1964, George Foreman in 1974, and Leon Spinks in 1979. This item is accompanied by a LOA from JSA (B64013).
