Called up at the beginning of the 2012 season, Washington National’s Bryce Harper emerged as the National League most exciting player. By mid-season he was voted onto the All-Star team and finished the year as the NL’s Rookie of the Year and is considered one of the top five players in the game today.
Harper used this Louisville Slugger C243 model bat during his 2012 Rookie of the Year season, where he hit 22 home runs, 59 RBI and a .270 batting average. This bat displays light-to-moderate use and is un-cracked. The barrel has a cupped end and there are a few ball marks and ball stitch impressions that are visible on the right barrel. On the handle, is a light coating of pine tar and the bat’s manufacture date “0726-2012”, along with the length and weight “33.5/31.5” have been stamped on the knob. A fantastic early gamer from one of baseball’s great players and it comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B11958) for the game use.
