Houston Astros All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa wore these Nike Huarache cleats during the 2014 MiLB season. Correa plied his trade for the Lancaster JetHawks of the High-A California League, hitting .325 with 57 RBI and 20 stolen bases in only 62 games. The next season, Correa played 53 games in AA and AAA before a mid-season call-up to his parent club. In only 99 games, Correa jacked 22 home runs en route to winning the 2015 American League Rookie of the Year Award. Correa finished up his third MLB season in 2017, earning first All-Star nod and helping the ‘Stros win the franchise’s first World Series title.
These size 13 kicks are made of blue vinyl and blue vented mesh. Orange Nike swooshes are applied to each side, with “Focus” and Correa’s number “1” applied to opposite sides of the heels. The ankle support features a Velcro strap with “NIKE” printed in orange letters. A “Huarache” tag is sewn on each tongue. These shoes display excellent wear, and are accompanied by LOAs from Carlos Correa Sr. and JT Sports.
