Presented here is a ticket to the June 30th, 1995 Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins game. Indians designated hitter Eddie Murray collected the 3,000th hit of his MLB career in this contest, hitting a single to right field in the top of the sixth inning against Twins starter Mike Trombley. Murray, one of only five players with 500 home runs and 3,000 hits, finished the 1995 season with an excellent .313/21/82 line as the Indians advanced to the World Series. Murray has signed this ticket in blue marker, adding the inscription “3,000 Hit” beneath his signature. This item has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (83815672).
