San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick wore this white road jersey during the 2011 NFL season, his first in the league after Niners selected him in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. “Kap” appeared in three games in 2011, completing three of five passes for 35 yards, before earning the starting job midway through the 2012 season. Kaepernick led the 49ers to the Super Bowl in his first season as a starter, but failed to replicate that season’s performance before parting ways with the 49ers in 2017.
This white jersey has Kaepernick’s number “7” sewn on the chest, sleeves, and back in red tackle twill. “49ers” is embroidered on the chest in red below a NFL equipment shield. The sleeves feature a triad of red stripes below a red Reebok logo. “KAEPERNICK” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill over a white nameplate. A “11-42-2” patch is sewn on the back inside collar of the jersey. A Reebok tag with attached “11” and “42” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey, which exhibits light to moderate wear, comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
