Offered in this lot is a baseball signed and inscribed by Ralph Branca and Bobby Thomson, two of the key players involved in the famous “Shot Heard ‘Round The World” moment during the 1951 National League championship. The signatures and inscription are in blue pen and the inscription reads: “10-03-1951”. The OML Selig baseball was made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the “Shot Heard ‘Round The World” when Bobby Thomson hit a three-run homerun off of Ralph Branca to win the National League pennant for the New York Giants.
