Towering New York Yankees relief pitcher Dellin Betances wore this Father’s Day cap on June 19th, 2016, during a game against the Minnesota Twins. The Yankees lost 7-4, with Betances coming in to pitch two-thirds of an inning in relief of starter Nathan Eovaldi. Betances, an All-Star for the third time in 2016, finished the season with three victories, 12 saves, and 126 strikeouts in only 73 innings pitched.
This cap is dark gray, with a blue Yankees logo embroidered on the front. A blue and white MLB logo is present on the back of the cap. A “68” sticker is applied to the underside of the brim. Betances has signed the top of the brim of this size 7 5/8 hat in silver marker. This hat comes with a COA from JSA (R59473) for the signature, a LOA from Yankee-Steiner Collectibles, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 023757), which dates use to the June 19th contest.
