Miguel Cabrera hit a league-high 37 home runs and had 127 RBI in his first season in Detroit during the 2008 season. Cabrera used this Zinger X Series 24 model bat during the September 10, 2008 game against the A’s at Comerica Park in Detroit. The Tigers lost the game 5-2 as Cabrera went 1-for-4 in the contest. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack in the handle. There are numerous ball marks, blue ink transfers, white leather scuffs and cleat prints present throughout the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the handle and Cabrera’s number “24” has been hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH175314 – Barrel & LH175315 - Handle) which authenticates that this bat was broken and used by Cabrera during the September 10th game against Oakland in Detroit and a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B04856) and has been graded a solid GU 8.
