Hall of Fame coach Hank Stram ran the New Orleans Saints during the final two seasons of his career, in 1976 and 1977. Presented here are two painted game footballs given to Stram. The first is from the Saints 42-24 road victory over the Chicago Bears on October 2^nd, 1977. This was the Saints first win of the season. The second ball is from the Saints October 30^th, 1977 victory over the Los Angeles Rams. This was the Saints second victory of the season, a 27-26 victory at the Louisiana Superdome. These footballs are in good condition.
