In 1998, the New York Yankees claimed their record 24th World Series title, sweeping aside the San Diego Padres in a brief, four game series. Scott Brosius was named the World Series MVP, crushing two home runs and driving in six while maintaining a batting average of .471 for the series. This baseball, an Official World Series Allan H. Selig ball, has been signed by Derek Jeter and Chuck Knoblauch, two key members of the Yankees World Series squad. They have both signed the panel to the south of Selig’s stamped signature in black pen. “6-4” is inscribed between the two signatures. This item, a limited edition 57 of 64, comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (V13568).
