This Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseball was used during the Chicago Cubs August 31^st, 2015 home game against the Atlanta Braves. The Cubs won 6-2 as Kris Bryant, the 2015 National League Rookie of the Year and 2016 NL MVP, paced the offense, crushing a two-run homer and lacing a ground-rule double in the bottom of the first inning. Bryant’s partner-in-crime Anthony Rizzo went hitless, but added the Cubs first run of the game on an RBI groundout. Rizzo and Bryant have each signed the sweet spot in blue pen, with Rizzo inscribing “2015 Game Used” and Bryant adding “2015 NL ROY”.
