Hall of Famer Early Wynn won exactly 300 career games, winning his final game during the 1963 season. On his road to instant Hall of Fame status Wynn earned career victory No. 141 during the September 9, 1952 game between his Cleveland Indians and the Philadelphia Athletics. On this day, Wynn threw a complete game, striking out seven and allowing only one run. This was Wynn’s 20th victory of the season, moving his record to 20-12.

This well soiled and toned Official American League William Harridge ball shows nice game use and is signed on the side panel by Wynn in black pen with the inscription “This was my 20th Win Ball in 1952”. There is an additional inscription on this baseball on a side panel that reads “20TH SEPT. 8. 1952 PHIL. A’s” and was penned in an unknown hand. This historic baseball comes with a LOA from Mears for the game use attributed to Wynn’s 20th victory in 1952 and a LOA from JSA (Y48858) for his signature and inscription.
