Beginning in 1979, Tim Raines was the undisputed star north of the border. The most successful player to ever don an Montreal Expos cap won the 1986 batting crown and led the National League in steals four times, a record for switch hitters.

This Cooper TR4 model bat was used by Raines during his time in Montreal and has been dated to the 1986-1992 seasons. This bat shows moderate to heavy use and is un-cracked. “Rock” has been hand written in black marker on the knob, which also has stamped in black the length (33 ½) and the weight (30 ½ OZ). There are numerous ball marks, blue ink transfers, cleat imprints and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel portion of this bat. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14939) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
