Washington Nationals superstar outfielder Bryce Harper wore this special stars and stripes cap during the Nationals four games from July 1st through July 4th. Harper was a dynamo during these games, hitting .531, with eight hits in 15 at-bats. On July 2nd, during a 7-2 road victory against St. Louis, Harper homered twice and doubled, driving in four of the Nationals seven runs. In his final game wearing the stars and stripes uniform, a July 4th 11-4 home victory over the Mets, the 2015 NL MVP finished 3-4 with two RBI and three runs scored. Harper, laid low by a painful leg injury during the summer, nevertheless finished the 2017 campaign with 29 home runs, 88 RBI, and a .319 batting average.

The sweatband on the inside of this cap features an American flag pattern, and has a New Era tag sewn on the back. Harper’s number “34” is written on the inside of this size 7 ¼ cap in black marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (JC 363548), which dates use to the July 4th weekend.
