Presented here is a collection of four New York Mets jerseys worn during the 2006 season when the Mets advanced to within one victory of the World Series. The first jersey was worn by Geremi Gonzalez. It is a gray road button down with “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. “GONZALEZ” and his number “32” are sewn on the back in blue, orange, and black tackle twill, while an additional “32” appears on the front. This item comes with a Mets-Steiner LOA. The second jersey is a white, pinstriped button-down home jersey worn by Eli Marrero. “Mets” and “32” are sewn on the front in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. “MARRERO” and a second “32” are sewn on the back in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. The third jersey is a white, button down home jersey worn by Victor Zambrano. “Mets” and “38” are sewn on the front in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. “ZAMBRANO” and a second “38” are sewn on the back in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. The final jersey is a black road alternate button-down jersey worn by Brian Bannister. “NEW YORK” is sewn across the chest in blue, white, and orange tackle twill above a similar “40”. “BANNISTER” and a second “40” are sewn on the back in blue, white, and orange tackle twill.
