Presented here is a collection of four New York Mets jerseys worn during the 2006 season when the Mets advanced to within one victory of the World Series. The first jersey was worn by Geremi Gonzalez. It is a gray road button down with “NEW YORK” sewn across the chest in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. “GONZALEZ” and his number “32” are sewn on the back in blue, orange, and black tackle twill, while an additional “32” appears on the front. The second jersey is a white, pinstriped button-down home jersey worn by Eli Marrero. “Mets” and “32” are sewn on the front in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. “MARRERO” and a second “32” are sewn on the back in blue, orange, and black tackle twill.
