This base was used during the first game of the 2011 American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. This game began on September 30^th, and due to a rain delay and subsequent suspension in the middle of the second inning, it was completed on October 1^st. The Yankees won this game 9-3, with the “starter” of the second day Ivan Nova earning the win in relief of CC Sabathia. This Schutt base was used as second base during the third and fourth innings of the delayed game. It comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports, and a MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ 806625).
