Hall of Fame center Shaquille O’Neal wore this jersey during the 2005-06 NBA season, his second year playing on South Beach with the Miami Heat. The burly post-player averaged a cool 20 points per game during the regular season, adding 9.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per night as he led the Heat to Southeast Division title. During the playoffs, O’Neal combined with shooting guard Dwyane Wade to lead the Heat past the Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, Detroit Pistons, and eventually the Dallas Mavericks to earn the fourth ring of “The Big Aristotle’s” career.
This black road jersey features “HEAT” sewn across the chest in white and red tackle twill. O’Neal’s number “32” is sewn on the front and back in white and red tackle twill, while “O’NEAL” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. The sides of this jersey are accented in gold, white, and red, and a NBA patch is sewn on the front right chest. An NBA team apparel tag with attached size “60” and “Length +4” flags is sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey, which shows light wear, comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
