Derrick Thomas was one of the greatest linebackers of all-time. Spending his entire career with the Kansas City Chiefs, Thomas was the anchor of many great Chiefs’ defenses and finished his career with 126.5 sacks, 41 forced fumbles and four defensive touchdowns. Sadly, Thomas’ career and life ended following a motor vehicle accident on January 23, 2000 that left him paralyzed from the chest down. As a result of a blood clot that traveled from his legs to his lungs, Thomas passed away on February 8, 2000.

Thomas wore these white with red trim Reebok cleats during the 1992 season where he had 14.5 sacks and 67 solo tackles as the Chiefs finished with a 10-6 record. These size 13 cleats display excellent use and have hard rubber soles. The heels of each cleat have “58” embroidered on the red trim with “Reebok” in red and a red and white “DT” patch. Thomas signed his name in black marker on the heels and inscribed “58”. These cleats come with a LOA from Mears for the game use and individual LOAs from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A86008 & A86009) for the signatures.
