Franklin Delano Roosevelt typed and signed this letter on November 2nd, 1932, six days before he won the 1932 Presidential Election against the incumbent Herbert Hoover. In this letter, the future president writes to a “T.E. Cohalan” of the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation, thanking him for a campaign donation. Roosevelt spent time convalescing in his rehabilitation from his paralytic illness at Warm Springs, later establishing his “Little White House” in Warm Springs. In 1945, Roosevelt died while at his Warm Springs home. The 32nd President has signed this letter in black fountain pen. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA (Y81108).
