Beloved actor Jimmy Stewart wore these flannel baseball pants during the filming of the 1949 movie The Stratton Story, a true retelling of former Major League pitcher Monty Stratton’s journey back to baseball after a leg amputation threatened to completely derail his career. Stewart played Stratton in the film, which was critically and financially well received. It won the Academy Award for Best Motion Picture Story. These dark gray flannel pants have a Western Costume Co. tag with “Jimmy Stewart” printed on it sewn on the back of the waistband. They show light use.
