The “chase” card phenomenon – through which special and valuable cards are seeded within packs under specified ratios – have brought extraordinary creativity to the hobby, and they’ve helped to capture the fascination of a new, young generation of collectors. Presented is a fabulous piece, Leaf’s "Executive Collection" Masterpiece “One of One” card featuring cut signatures penned by the Hall of Fame’s four then-living original 1936 inductees: Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Babe Ruth and Honus Wagner. To accommodate the quartet of signature cuts, the card is fashioned such that two cuts are visible on each side of a glorious 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”, standard-card-sized piece. The card exhibits an uncirculated, truly museum-quality manner of presentation.
Encapsulated and certified by Leaf Trading Cards. Three of the legends' cuts have been signed in fountain pen; Wagner's name is scripted in pencil, and he has added the inscription. "Pirates - 1947." Each of the compelling signatures is individually validated by its own LOA from JSA, to include: Honus Wagner (JSA #Z39487), Ty Cobb (JSA #23465), Babe Ruth (JSA #Z23467) and Walter Johnson (JSA #Z39488).
