On May 5th, 1978, baseball’s all-time hit leader Pete Rose collected the 3,000th hit of his career during a 4-3 loss to the Montreal Expos at Riverfront Stadium. Rose, who finished 2-4, singled against Montreal starter Steve Rogers to reach the hallowed milestone. Rose finished his career with 4,256 career hits. “Rose 3000” is written on the back of this ticket in black pen. This ticket stub has been encapsulated and graded a VG 3(MK) by PSA/DNA (23808527).
