In 1959, the Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series on the West Coast, defeating the Chicago White Sox in six games. Larry Sherry won the World Series MVP Award, while the White Sox made their first World Series appearance since the 1919 Black Sox scandal. Games 3, 4, and 5 were played in Los Angeles, and to this date are the only World Series games with over 90,000 fans in attendance. Ticket stubs from all six games are offered in this lot. Games 1, 2, and 6 were played at Comiskey Park, while Games 3, 4, and 5 took place at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
