Presented here is a postcard twice signed by Elvis Presley. One of the most revered musicians of the 20th century, Elvis brought rock and roll to masses during his exemplary recording career. Known as much for his gyrating dance moves as his resonant voice, Elvis sits atop the pantheon of great American artists. Elvis has signed the front of this 3 ½ x 5 ½ postcard in slightly faded black ink. His signature on the back is crisp and bold, with the inscription “To Diana / Thanks for showing up / Yours only / Elvis Presley”. This signature has been written in black pen. Also included in this collection is an unused concert ticket from Elvis’ August 25th, 1977 show in Memphis, Tennessee. Presley passed away nine days earlier on August 16th. The postcard comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A86036).
