In 2008 the Philadelphia Phillies claimed their first World Series title since 1980, sending the city of Philadelphia into rapturous celebration. Behind the stars Chase Utley, Jimmy Rollins, and Ryan Howard, the Phillies dropped only three games in the entire postseason as they defeated the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Tampa Bay Rays to claim the city of Philadelphia’s first championship since 1983. This 16 x 20 inch picture, taken moments after Brad Lidge completed a virtually perfect season for the Phillies, has been signed by 23 members of the victorious team. Signatures include Cole Hamels and Charlie Manuel, who both inscribed “08 WS Champs” next to their signature, and beloved announcer Harry Kalas, who passed away in April of 2009. Other signatures include Chase Utley, Shane Victorino, Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard, Jamie Moyer, Davy Lopes, JC Romero, Joe Blanton, J.A. Happ, Greg Dobbs, Greg Golson, Kyle Kendrick, Chad Durbin, and several more. The signatures have been written in black marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 230979) and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A84401).
