Muhammad Ali kicked off the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics in an opening ceremony that tugged on the heartstrings of sports fans across the world. Ali, slowed by the effects of Parkinson’s disease, lit the Olympic Torch in front of a sellout crowd in Atlanta, showing the resilience and fighting spirit that made him one of the greatest icons of the 20th century. This photograph measures approximately 16 x 20 inches, and comes in a 24 x 30 inch frame. Ali has signed this photograph in bold gold marker.
