30 members of the 1980 Pittsburgh Pirates have signed this Official Ball 1979 World Series Bowie Kuhn baseball. This ball also features a “76^th World Series” stamp on the side panel. Manager Chuck Tanner signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot. The east panel has the black pen signatures of Jim Booker, Don Robinson, Omar Moreno, Matt Alexander, Tim Foli, Bill Robinson, Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven, Joe Lonneett and Hall of Famer Willie Stargell. The west panel has the blue and black pen signatures of Many Sanguillen, Kent Tekulve, Lee Lacy, John Candelarian and Al Monchak.

The north panel has the signatures of Bill Madlock, Harvey Haddix, Enrique Romo, Bob Skinner, Bruce Kison, Steve Nicosia, John Milner and Eddie Solomon. The south panel has the signatures of Renni Stennett, Mike Easler, Dave Parker, Jim Bibby, an unidentified player, Dave Roberts and Phil Garner. The ball displays toning, but the blue stampings are crisp. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA (Z02933).
