Presented here is a signed and heavily inscribed photograph of New York Mets closer Jesse Orosco taken moments after the pitcher closed out the Boston Red Sox to win the 1986 World Series. On the photograph, Orosco has written “It was Game 7 of the 86 World Series. After our team just rallied to a dramatic game 6 comeback victory. At that time I was throwing as well as anytime in my career. Finally, there are two outs in the top of the 9th. Marty Barrett stepped up to the plate. On a fastball away I struck him out to end the game. We just won the WORLD SERIES. I threw my glove high into the air and the rest is history. Where did that glove go? Only I know for sure”. Additionally, Orosco inscribed “’Last Out’ 86 World Series Champs”. Orosco signed and inscribed this 16 x 20 inch color photograph in silver marker. This item comes with a COA from Steiner Sports and a Fanatics Authenticated hologram (0542751).
