Presented here is a photograph of Joe Morgan and the 1975 Cincinnati Reds celebrating after defeating the Boston Red Sox in the Fall Classic. Morgan knocked in the winning run in the top of the ninth inning of Game 7 to give the Reds the World Series victory. On this 16 x 20 inch photograph, Morgan inscribed “This was the most exciting day of my baseball life. We had just won the 1975 World Series from the Red Soxs in seven games. It was my first World Championship. I had driven in the winning run in the top of the ninth inning. I was on the field with some of the greatest players and people the game has ever seen. That added to the excitement!” Morgan signed and inscribed this photograph in silver marker, adding a short “HOF ‘90” inscription beneath his signature. This item comes with a COA from Steiner Sports and a Fanatics Authenticated hologram (0542755).
