Presented is an autographed photograph of “The Rumble in the Jungle”. Foreman went into this fight the favorite to win as result of his 40-0 record; two of those wins by way of defeating Ken Norton and Joe Frazier (two of some of the top fighters of this era of boxing). The bout took place in 1974 at Kinshasa, Zaire (now known as The Democratic Republic of the Kongo), the two boxing giants put on a display of skill and power that made critics around the world call this one of the greatest fight of the 20th century. Despite Foreman’s formidable reputation as a boxer and record, Ali came out on top, ending Foreman’s reign in the 8th round by TKO. This photo shows a dazed Foreman and Muhammad Ali concentrated on beating his opponent, waiting for the moment he returns to his feet, only he never does. This photo captures the seconds before the referee calls the fight. This photograph has been signed by Muhammad Ali in blue marker and comes with a LOA from JSA (Y93544).
